Layers and layers of Mexican-style ingredients will make this dish an instant classic.
1 lb ground chuck
1 packet mild taco seasoning
9 flour tortillas, cut in half
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
1 lb shredded cheese
1 jar (16 to 20 oz) salsa
Preheat oven to 350° F. Brown the meat in a pan until internal temperature reaches 160° F on a meat thermometer. Add taco seasoning to the meat following packet directions. Place three tortilla halves on the bottom of a well-greased lasagna pan. Spoon in 1/3 of ground beef mixture, 1/3 of refried beans, 1/3 of cheese and 1/3 of salsa. Repeat until all ingredients are layered. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
